Texas A&M currently has approximately 50,000 students and 2,700 faculty all of which will be provided for under the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) wireless architecture being supported on campus by Layer 3 Communications ( news article). Students and teachers will be able to connect their personal devices to the campus wireless network with ease. Layer 3 Customer Bulletin

Layer 3 has been advised of vulnerabilities within the JUNOS firmware. The vulnerabilities while they exist are only accessible when on the trusted networks the devices inhabit. The vulnerabilities involve cross-site scripting against the J-Web interface and command security bypass on the CLI.
