• Space Planning and Coordination: Layer 3 Communications will meet to determine current needs and future growth potential for your data center. We will clearly define space requirements and rack elevations for all data center components.
  
  
• Design Services: Layer 3 Communications engineers will develop a detailed documentation set including:
• Drawings that reflect the space plan and rack elevations
• Power requirements
• Grounding requirements
• BTU outputs for all data center components
• Lighting requirements
• Fire suppression system


• We will work with the architects and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineers to ensure the correct sizing of equipment including growth considerations. This process greatly reduces construction conflicts which can generate costly change orders.
  
  
• Construction Administration: A project manager will be assigned to attend construction meetings, answer questions, manage change orders, interface with the MEP engineers, maintain the project timeline, report budget impact and ensure the general success of the project. Layer 3 Communications will conduct on-site observations at various times through project completion.
  
  
• Move Migration: Layer 3 Communications will assist you and create a "move migration plan" to minimize downtime for critical systems, define various tasks and critical path items.
